Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter a name or case number in a search tool displayed on this site, the query is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. That provider processes the request and returns any results. We do not keep a separate log or database of the search terms entered through the tool.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, we retain the message and the information needed to respond. We do not disclose that correspondence outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Like most websites, our servers may receive technical information when a page is requested, including:
- Your device's IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device and operating-system information
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- The referring website, when one is provided
- Page-view dates and times
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics services may help us understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as the pages visitors reach and use. You can manage cookies in your browser. Blocking them may change how some parts of the site function.
What We Do With This Data
- Operate, maintain, and secure the site
- Route a submitted search to the applicable partner service
- Understand aggregate site use and improve useful pages
- Investigate and correct technical problems
- Display advertising that may be interest-based
No Court-Record Data on File
Crawford County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court dockets or personal case-record information. It provides general guidance about finding records held by the Crawford County Circuit Court, the Crawford County Circuit Clerk, and Missouri Case.net. We do not assemble visitor information or court information into consumer reports, and we are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search tools presented here are operated by outside providers. Information entered into one of those tools is governed by that provider's privacy policy, retention practices, and sharing practices, not this policy. Review the provider's terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Our pages may link to official court and clerk resources, including Missouri Case.net, as well as legal-aid, government, and third-party sites. Once you leave this site, the destination site's own privacy policy controls your visit and any information you provide there.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites or present interest-based advertisements. Those systems are not controlled by Crawford County Court Docket.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may be processed by:
- Search partners that receive a query submitted through their tool
- Analytics providers used to measure traffic and site performance
- Advertising networks that serve advertisements on our pages
- Government or law-enforcement authorities when a valid legal requirement applies
How We Protect Your Data
We use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information we handle. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so we cannot promise that a transmission or stored message will never be affected by an unauthorized event.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Your Data Rights
This policy does not claim a separate Missouri consumer-privacy statute for court records. Access to Missouri court records and the treatment of confidential or sealed court material are governed by Missouri Court Operating Rule 4.02-4.03, 4.09, and 4.24-4.26. Those rules address statewide court automation, official records, public access, confidentiality, sealing, and expungement. RSMo § 509.520 separately protects specified personal data in court filings.
For personal information you have supplied directly to this private site, you may ask us to:
- Tell you what contact information or correspondence we retain about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information when we do not need to keep it for a lawful purpose
- Stop a particular optional processing activity where that is feasible
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy as the site or its practices change. Any replacement policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
